A 27-year-old man, Seun Fisayo, was on Thursday arraigned before an Osun State Magistrates’ Court, Ile-Ife for allegedly stealing 350 pieces of catfish.
The prosecutor, Inspector Sunday Osanyintuyi, arraigned the defendant on one count of stealing.
The accused allegedly committed the offence on December 9 at about 2pm at 9, Irepodun Mokuro Line 3, lle-Ife Fisayo.
The alleged offence is contrary to Section 383 and punishable under Section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code of 2002.
The defendant pleaded not guilty.
The Magistrate, Mr Elisha Aluko, adjourned until January 27 for a bail hearing.
